Giving Update | XOve Baby Swaddle Donation Recap

"For every purchase, a product is donated." You will see these words front and center on our website, in every newsletter, splashed across social media, and at the core of all things XOve Baby. It's because of your orders that we can make donations to very deserving little ones! We can't thank you enough for your purchases and all the kind words spread to others!

We've already partnered with two amazing organizations and are excited to introduce the third!



Orders placed mid to late 2014 had their donations sent to Smart Start of New Hanover County. Local to XOve Baby, we were able to partner with The United Way of the Cape Fear Area and connect with this wonderful non-profit for our first swaddle donation.

"Smart Start of New Hanover County shares with the other citizens of New Hanover County a common concern for and commitment to the welfare and future success of our youngest children. As part of a statewide early childhood Initiative, Smart Start of New Hanover County serves as a local leader in developing a comprehensive, collaborative approach to serve the needs of all children, birth to 5, in New Hanover County."

Orders placed at the end of 2014 into early 2015 had their donations sent to Baby Buggy of New York City. Our early customers were close to home, but quickly the XOve family began to grow outside of North Carolina with an exciting new following in the Greater New York City area. The Giving Team looked towards NYC for the second donation and Baby Buggy was an easy choice.

"Baby Buggy takes an innovative child-focused approach to curbing generational poverty by linking access to critical child gear items to parental participation in programs designed to lift the family out of poverty."

With 1,817,406 donated items in 2014, Baby Buggy is a major player in the fight against child poverty and we are proud to be a partner!

We are excited to introduce our next giving partner the Homeless Prenatal Program of San Francisco! From the east coast to west XOve Baby is on a mission to #spreadthexove. Orders placed from early 2015 until now will be sent to this amazing organization as part of their next Diaper Bag Program.

"The Homeless Prenatal Program (HPP) is an award-winning San Francisco Family Resource Center. For 25 years, HPP has provided poor and homeless families the ability to end childhood poverty. Built on a foundation of supportive, nonjudgmental case management, we empower families, particularly mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood, to recognize their strengths and trust in their own capacity to transform their lives."

XOve Baby was first introduced to HPP through this article and we knew we had to get involved! Stay tuned for images from their next baby shower with XOve Baby swaddles!
