Strawberry Fields | Family Fun Day At The Strawberry Farm
Posted on 05 May 2016
In the blink of an eye our toddler is nearly 18 months old, and on the flip-side, the days slowly pass as we anxiously await the arrival of baby #2. Let me just say it’s a whole new ballgame when expecting your second child (especially for Momma). Yes, we have been through this all before so it should be easy right? Not exactly :)
This go-around there is no time to rest when you are chasing a toddler (especially one who won’t sit still for more than 10 seconds and would actually prefer to live outside!). Priorities drastically change from solely focusing on Mom’s schedule and needs during the first pregnancy to now focusing on the baby. AND, having to carry/wrestle a 30 lb. toddler while 34 weeks pregnant is no joke, ha!
The days tend to drain your energy a lot faster, but having a little buddy by your side is like nothing else. We’ve found the best thing to do is to not get caught up in the day-to-day and make sure to stop and smell the roses (or stop and pick some strawberries!).
We hope you enjoy these photos from our recent stop in at the local strawberry farm, and we do wish each and every Mom a wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend!!
